Our beliefs

Westminster Global Learning Center dedicated to developing academic excellence and professional competence through Christian education, while also fostering deep spirituality, biblical values, Christ-like character, and the practice of love and sharing. We aim to instill proper habits in our students. Our educational philosophy is based on the following principles:

• Creating a Grace-Filled Environment We teach students with a clear Christian educational philosophy and encourage them to commit to this mission.

• Uniting School, Church, and Home We believe in a team approach where school, church, and home work together to nurture children into individuals who please God, not just society.

  • School: Our primary focus is on academic excellence. We prioritize scholarly achievements and encourage church-centered lives for faith growth.

  • Church: We promote a church-centric lifestyle, supporting faith development through church involvement.

  • Home: Parents provide proper discipline, ensuring harmonious growth in faith, academics, and behavior.

Through the right habits in faith, academics, and discipline (Proverbs 22:6), we strive to ensure continuous growth for our children, making them pleasing to God(Acts 7:20).

Church (Faith): "From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work." (Ephesians 4:16)

School (Academics): "And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man." (Luke 2:52)

Home (Discipline): "These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up." (Deuteronomy 6:6-7)

Our Philosophy

크리스챤 교육을 통한 학문적 실력과 전문성과 더불어 깊은 영성 (성경적인 가치관, 예수님 닮은 성품, 사랑의 수고와 나눔의 실천) 그리고 올바른 습관을 키워주는 학교. 그리하여 저희 WGLC는 아래와 같은 것에 교육 운영철학을 갖습니다

1. 학생들을 최상으로 돕는 은총의 환경조성

분명한 하나님의 기독교 교육 철학을 가지고 학생들을 가르치고, 학생들에게 이에 헌신을 결단하도록 격려하는 환경을 조성합니다.

2. 핵심가치로 학교와 교회와 가정이 하나의 팀

학교와 교회가 그리고 가정이 한 팀이 되어서 자녀를 사람이 아니라 하나님이 기뻐하시는 자녀로 양육합니다.

학교는 학문적 실력을 키우는 것에 최고의 우선을 두며, 자녀들이 속한 교회를 통해서 믿음이 성장 할 수 있도록 교회 중심적인 삶을 가르치고, 가정의 부모를 통해서 올바른 훈육을 받아 학교와 교회 그리고 가정이 아름다운 하모니를 이룹니다. 그리하여 올바른 믿음의 습관, 올바른 학문의 습관, 그리고 올바른 훈육의 습관 (잠 22:6)을 통해서 우리의 자녀가 하나님이 기뻐하시는 자녀로 자라는데 (행 7:20) 지속적인 성장을 멈추지 않도록 합니다.

교회 (믿음): “그에게서 온 몸이 각 마디를 통하여 도움을 입음으로 연락하 고 상합하여 각 지체의 분량대로 역사하여 그 몸을 자라게 하 며 사랑 안에서 스스로 세우느니라” (에베소서 4:16)

학교 (학문): “예수는 그 지혜와 그 키가 자라가며 하나님과 사람에게 더 사 랑스러워 가시더라” (누가복음 2:52)

가정 (훈육): “오늘날 내가 네게 명하는 이 말씀을 너는 마음에 새기고 7 네 자녀에게 부지런히 가르치며 집에 앉았을 때에든지 길에 행할 때에든지 누웠을 때에든지 일어날 때에든지 이 말씀을 강론할 것이며” (신명기 6:6)

The Bible as God's Word

The Bible, comprising the Old and New Testaments, is the infallible Word of God, written under divine inspiration. It is the complete and sufficient rule for faith and practice.

Salvation by Faith and Grace Alone

The core message of the Bible is that all humans, through Adam's intentional sin against God, are under God's wrath. The only way to restore our relationship with God is by believing that Jesus Christ died on the cross and shed His blood for our sins and lived a perfectly righteous life on our behalf. This faith is a gift from God.

The Triune God

Our God is the one true and living God, existing in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three persons are of the same essence and equal in power and glory.

Head of the Church

Jesus Christ alone is the head of the church, and all standards of the church are derived solely from God's Word.

Our Faith Statement

* 성경은 하나님의 말씀

신구약 성경은 하나님의 감동으로 쓰여진 하나님의 말씀으 로 오류가 없습니다. 성경만이 믿음과 행함에 있어서 완전하고 충분한 신앙의 법칙입니다.

* 삼위일체 하나님

우리 하나님은 지금도 살아 계시고 참되신 한 분 하나님이시며, 구별되시는 삼위로 존재하시는데, 성부, 성자, 성령 하나님이시며 본질이 같으시고 권능과 영광은 동등하십니다.

* 구원은 오직 믿음과 은혜로

성경의 메시지는, 의도적으로 하나님께 죄 지은 아담을 통해 함께 죄에 빠진 우리 모든 인간이 하나님의 진노 아래 있으며, 하나님과의 관계를 회복하는 길은 오직 예수 그리스도께서 우리를 대신하여 십자가에 죽으시어 피흘려 주신 것과 우리를 대신하여 완전히 의로운 삶을 살아주신 것을 믿음으로 이루어지는 것입니다. 이 믿음은

하나님의 선물입니다.

* 교회의 머리

교회의 머리는 오직 한 분 예수 그리스도이시며, 교회의 모든 표준은 오직 하나님의 말씀 뿐입니다.
